A little background on me
My name is Brandon Cavalier-Brancio. I am a Denver, CO-based NASM Certified Personal Trainer, Certified Sports Nutrition Coach, Corrective Exercise Specialist, and Behavior Change Specialist. In conjunction with my certifications, I draw on the knowledge I’ve gained from a diverse background in fitness that includes over a decade of weight training experience, 6+ years of military service in the US Army Infantry, 4 years (and counting) of regular training and competition as an amateur strongman, and numerous other personal athletic endeavors. I also have extensive personal familiarity with post-clinical injury rehabilitation.
As a coach, I have serviced over 4000 hours of one-on-one personal training, and crafted thousands of individualized training programs - ranging from simple 4-week general fitness programs, to complex 12+ week competition-focused strength peaking cycles, and everything in between.
In addition to my training and athletic background, I am currently enrolled in an undergraduate program at MSU Denver, where I am pursuing a major in Biology and dual minors in Psychology and Chemistry. My studies provide me with a consistently growing understanding of human anatomy and physiology, human behavior, and broader concepts of human health that I bring to my sessions and training methods. Beyond formal education, I'm also committed to ongoing self-directed study, constantly expanding my knowledge base across multiple disciplines to enhance my abilities as a trainer and coach.
I believe that as a trainer and coach, I have a responsibility to “walk the walk” when it comes to health and fitness. I enjoy eating a well-balanced, healthy diet and strive to fuel myself in ways that I feel at my peak energetically and physically - with my primary nutritional focus being on my strength performance, and staying within the parameters of my competitive weight class at all times. When I am not working, studying, or training, I spend my free time engaging in outdoor pursuits such as hiking, snowboarding, mountain biking, and various other active hobbies. I also live a lifestyle that is sober from drugs and alcohol, and generally work towards cultivating a disciplined, focused mindset so that I can always operate at my best. Ultimately, I strive to lead by example for my clients across all aspects of life.
